During the spring, the spaces of the Cascina hosted the artist Igshaan Adams (Cape Town, 1982), recently awarded the Standard Bank Young Artist Award for Visual Art.
This experience ended on May 18 with an exhibition, in collaboration with blank projects gallery (Cape Town), where Adams presents the new installations made during this period, wall and ceiling textile configurations that incorporate both the most recognizable vocabulary of his practice and a new push to experiment with materials recovered during his stay in Cascina Maria.
