To-water-striders

During the residency, Daiga Grantina created a new body of works, located on both exhibition floors, inspired by nearby Lake Orta. The exhibition, like Daiga Grantina's artistic practice, pushes into the terrain of form arising from color. Just as the water-gerrids arise from the movement of the Heteroptera Rhynchus on the surface of the water, so To-water-striders, the set of sculptures created during the residency transpires as a chorality from the vibration of forms and colors.
