Art Project Maistra 21 Nomad Art Week Gallaria Sonne, Silvaplana february 23 2024 On the occasion of the Art Week in the Engadine, Art Project Maistra 21 renews its collaboration with Gallaria Sonne, presenting a new exhibition and some new-entries in the Bite&Go project. The appointment is set for February 23 with a cocktail that will simultaneously celebrate the inauguration of the new "ramp" dedicated to art and design, the last missing piece for the completion of the Silvaplana exhibition space. With an unprecedented exhibition itinerary, Art Project Maistra 21 offers a photographic exhibition in which the focus is placed on the representation of photography as a language of contemporary art. For the occasion, the showcase of Bite&Go, a project born in 2021 with the aim of promoting works by mid-career and established artists, is renewed with new-entries and new works, all in small format and at low prices, always in the name of uniqueness and artistic quality. At the same time, the Art Project Maistra 21 hosts the immersive exhibition by Arjan Shehaj (1989, Albania), in which the artist envelops the viewer through a dialectical play of light and shadow, lightness and intensity, the "pictorial fabrics" of Jaime Poblete (1981, Chile), the result of a continuous dialogue between the memory of his shamanic roots and the European art of the masters of minimalism, and the installation of cocoons by Alissa Marchenko (1989, Ukraine), made with grass and flowers collected by the artist in his travels, creating a dreamlike and evocative atmosphere.
